1967 VW Volkswagen "Herbie" Beetle... Herbie's been lowered at the front as you'll see in the pictures, has "Towel Rail" US style bumpers, a red interior with black carpet and being a 1967 model is the first of the 12 volt electrics!!

The previous owner spent alot of time and money on her and then other hobbies took over... a 1641cc engine has been fitted with twin solex carbs... he told me using an 110 Engle cam shaft, straight cut cam gears, lightly ported heads and match ported manifolds I have no reason to doubt him but we have no paperwork to back this up as he and a friend built it together... the engine starts well with no smoke, seems very strong, has good compression etc and has loads of pull... MOT until May 2011.

A very nice and much admired classic Beetle.
